SIP trunking solution offers greater purchasing flexibility than TDM. TDM trunks typically support a minimum of 23 voice channels, whereas the best SIP trunks can be purchased in any increment without requiring a dedicated wide area network (WAN) circuit. Customers may implement SIP trunks over existing WAN services, dedicated WAN connections or even the public internet.

Netagen Connect SIP Trunks can be used with any approved Session Border Controller (SBC)

The SBC can be located on-prem, or alternatively customers can leverage Netagen’s cloud hosted Managed SBC solution. By essentially using a VPN between the customer premise and the Netagen data center, the customer’s network is extended securely to the DC.  All SIP traffic is routed over the VPN to the data centre, where it is handled just as it would have been by a dedicated on-premise SBC.
