David Patterson

President

David Patterson MBA, HBBA is responsible for Netagen’s corporate strategy, financial performance and to lead the best team of communication and technology professionals in Canada. David is passionate about clear communication, delivering on promises and building long-term relationships with our clients, vendors, and employees.

David still maintains responsibility for the national sales strategy and customer engagement. Under David’s leadership, the sales and design teams partner closely with our vendors to design and position solutions to meet the needs, and solve the problems, of our public and private enterprise clients.

David joined Netagen in April 2010 as VP of Central Region, later appointed as CRO and is now President. David has over thirty years of sales and sales management experience with national technology integrators. He has a broad professional background with experience in sales, marketing, leadership, and building new businesses.

David holds an MBA from Schulich School of Business and an Honours Bachelor of Business Administration from Wilfred Laurier University.

Craig Broughton

Chief Financial Officer

Craig Broughton CPA, CA leads the Finance and Business Operations functions and is responsible for ensuring business practices are sufficiently robust to support Netagen’s growth and evolution strategy. Craig provides guidance to the management team on financial and operational matters.

Craig joined Netagen in October 2020 as the Chief Financial Officer. He has over twenty-five years of progressive management experience holding executive roles in a variety of industries with both global and mid market companies. Over the course of his career, Craig has been responsible for managing financial operations, project delivery teams, sales operations and human resources.

Craig is a CPA, CA who graduated from Wilfrid Laurier University with a degree in Communications.

Ken Mac Donald

Vice President, Field Operations

Ken Mac Donald is responsible for Netagen’s overall customer service experience and project execution through his leadership of our national Operations and Network Operations Center (NOC). Ken’s lead by example approach to customer management coupled with a lesson learned philosophy enables him to constantly evolve his team and Netagen’s solution delivery process.

Ken joined Netagen in November 2019 as the Central Regional Field Director and is now the Vice-President, Field Operations. He has over thirty years of experience leading large operational teams with telecommunications and smaller VAR organizations. He has a diverse professional background with experience in Revenue Assurance, Cogs assurance, and P&L management which enables him to provide Netagen with critical insights in all aspects of our business.

Greg Curry

Vice President, Client Solutions

Mr. Curry is the VP of Client Solutions with extensive knowledge in UC, networking, and design. He has over 35+ years of experience in the technology sector. He has demonstrated commitment to interacting with multi-disciplined professional teams in design, implementation, network integration, and training. A consistent record of achievement with major technology companies and a strong sense of purpose concerning career development are his assets.

Mr. Curry responsibilities include overall ownership of the converged practice including Pre Sales Design, New Product Introduction, Research and Development, Marketing and Digital Transformation.

Senior Director, People & Culture

Sarah Sanftenberg leads the Human Resources and payroll function and provides leadership to the people and culture elements of Netagen’s strategy. She supports the leadership team with a distinct perspective and appreciation that human capital is Netagen’s greatest asset. Sarah is passionate about evolving the employee experience, supporting and nurturing the corporate culture and enabling the business to deliver on its purpose through connecting people.

Sarah joined Netagen in July 2018 as the Human Resources Manager and is now the People and Culture Senior Director. She has over fifteen years of progressive human resources experience with technology and customer service companies. She has a diverse professional background with experience in employee relations & engagement, policy and program development, strategic planning, compensation & benefit and recruitment & selection.

Sarah holds a diploma in Business Administration/Human Resources from Algonquin College.
